Dear Aviation Professional

Thank you for visiting the official Wisconsin Airport Management Association (WAMA) website. WAMA provides and shares with airport managers and other aviation professionals an understanding of mutual concerns affecting Wisconsin aviation system through meetings, conferences, and correspondence. Your active involvement and participation is essential to ensure Wisconsin aviation system remains among the best in the nation!

Hopefully before you leave you will consider and perhaps download a membership application to join the organization.

There are many purposes to the organization

• To promote safety, economic value, and public benefit at ALL of the airports in the State of Wisconsin.
• To educate the aviation community with information that may be helpful to the future of aviation.
• To educate local and regional governments of the economic value of aviation within Wisconsin.
• Seek and exchange information between other aviation professionals who may have experiences and insights that can benefit each other.
• To investigate, study, discuss, recommend, and promote improvement in the aviation system to airport operators, Wisconsin Bureau of Aeronautics, FAA, and legislators.
• Develop working cooperation between Government, business, and aviation entities.
• Promote the education and participation of young people in aviation.
• And many more.
  

Please join us for the 57th Wisconsin Aviation Conference to be held May 7−9, 2012, at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. More information on the conference may be found here. This year the conference will feature online registration. The conference is co-sponsored by

• Many consultants and suppliers of goods and services for aviation in the state
• and of course, WAMA.

There are many challenges in the days to come to aviation. There are also many changes coming that will greatly affect how aviation is treated in the state. Please consider joining our ranks and becoming a voice to be heard. Membership is open to all people interested in aviation in Wisconsin.
